Additional activities at the Butterfly 2 kindergarten
For us, kindergarten is not only the implementation of the core curriculum, but also a space to explore interests, develop talents and build self-confidence. That's why at Motylek 2 bilingual kindergarten we offer children a wide range of additional activities, tailored to their interests and developmental needs. Through a variety of activities, preschoolers can develop motor skills, creativity, social skills and language competence.
The kindergarten's extra classes are conducted by experienced instructors and specialists who know how to work with children and make learning new things something really fascinating. Importantly, some of the extra classes are provided as part of the tuition fee, so children can take advantage of them regularly without additional fees. These include Spanish language, eurhythmics and speech therapy prophylaxis.

In the kindergarten Motylek 2 our charges can count on a very rich offer of additional activities that will help them not only to develop their passions, but also to better know and understand the world around them. Here is a list of activities we offer at our facility.
Language learning, or Spanish in kindergarten
Language classes are an important part of our extra-curricular activities. In the kindergarten, children learn Spanish, which takes place twice a week and is included in the tuition fee.
Learning a foreign language at preschool age has many benefits. Children naturally assimilate new vocabulary through fun, songs, movement games and interactive exercises. As a result, foreign language is not a chore for them, but an interesting adventure in which they participate with great joy. Regular contact with Spanish promotes the development of memory, concentration and openness to other cultures. It also makes it easier to learn more languages in the future.
Chess and legorobotics - activities to develop logical thinking
Playing chess is an excellent workout for the young mind. Children learn to plan, anticipate the consequences of their actions and think logically. At the same time, the classes are conducted in the form of play, so preschoolers enjoy the challenge and develop patience.
Legorobotics, on the other hand, is an extremely attractive form of activity that combines building from bricks loved by the youngest with elements of programming and problem solving. Children construct models from bricks and learn the basic principles of mechanisms. The classes develop creativity, manual skills and spatial imagination.
Physical activity, or sports in our kindergarten
Movement is a natural need of every child. Therefore, the range of extra-curricular activities at our kindergarten also includes various sports activities that help develop physical fitness and motor coordination. Among the proposed activities are:
- Soccer,
- judo,
- dance.
Sports activities teach children teamwork, healthy competition and perseverance in pursuit of goals. At the same time, they allow them to discharge energy and strengthen their overall body condition.
Art classes - development of creativity and creative expression
Art classes are a great space to develop imagination and creativity. Children experiment with different materials, learn new artistic techniques and create their own works. Painting, drawing, cutting out or modeling allows to develop manual skills and teaches patience and concentration. Each work is an opportunity to express emotions and an individual view of the world.
Training in Social Skills (TUS).
Social Skills Training (TUS) classes are also an important part of the offer. They help children develop the competencies necessary in relationships with peers and adults. During the meetings, children learn, among other things:
- Recognizing and naming emotions,
- group cooperation,
- conflict resolution,
- communicating their needs.
The classes are conducted in the form of games and exercises, so children naturally learn important social skills.
The offer of additional activities in the kindergarten is constantly developed and adapted to the needs of children and the expectations of parents. Each school year there are new proposals for activities that allow us to even better support the development of our little ones.
