Our mission is to support children in their development so that they can act independently, confidently, and with a readiness to take on new challenges in the future. We foster close relationships—children can turn to their teachers whenever they need support, and parents are welcome and have ongoing insight into their children’s development.
The preschool has been operating since 2006 under registration number 159/PN/06 in the registry of non-public institutions of the Capital City of Warsaw. The institution is supervised by the Board of Education and the Education Department of the Ochota District. The director of the preschool is Magdalena Gzocha, and the assistant director is Ilona Błach.
Soft preschool start for the youngest
The orientation sessions at Motylek 2 Bilingual Preschool are designed to gently and gradually introduce our youngest children to the world of preschool. We invite toddlers along with their parents or guardians so they can get used to the new environment, daily schedule, peers, and teachers at their own pace. During the sessions, children participate in a variety of activities—they play, paint, draw, sculpt, sing, and listen to stories. Parents are welcome to stay throughout the entire adaptation period—it gives children a sense of security, helps build trust, and makes it easier to form relationships with their new caregivers. Over time, the little ones become increasingly comfortable staying in the classroom on their own, which allows them to transition smoothly and stress-free into this new stage of life.

Meet our team
The team Motylek 2 Bilingual Preschool Our team consists of preschool teachers, special education teachers, a psychologist, a speech-language pathologist, and professionals who support children in various areas of development. We are united by a passion for working with children and the belief that the early years of life are crucial for every person’s future.
The following are also an integral part of the team native English speakers – Daeyna Otieno, a certified TEFL teacher with over 10 years of experience gained in Japan, Poland, and Jamaica, and Kennedy Otieno, an educator with over 20 years of experience working in Japan, Kenya, and Uganda, among other places. Daeyna brings tremendous energy and empathy to her daily work, building relationships through play and dialogue, while Kennedy, with her calm demeanor, warmth, and sense of humor, creates a safe environment where children joyfully and confidently experiment with the English language.
